Since reconnecting, we have been juggling flights, FaceTime, weekend bags and finding different ways of doing absolutely everything. Charlotte brings the structure, the plans, and a firm belief that the kitchen should run like a system – despite her frequent chopping board violations according to Daniel’s rules. Daniel brings a love for his car, the laid-back spirit (horizontal), the socks on the floor, and a general air of someone who moves at his own pace and acts like a teenager more often than strictly necessary. He is committed to the 3 C’s: Charlotte, the Car, and the Cat; though the order is under constant negotiation and serious debate!

What we have planned is small, thoughtful, and very much ours. No bridal chaos. No speeches. No complicated formalities. Just a micro wedding in a quiet mountainside village, with coordinated colours, a few gently worded requests, and the people we love most.

It will be a few days to slow down, laugh hard, dress well, and celebrate this second-chance love story exactly the way we want to with warmth, honesty, and enough champagne to make it all shimmer.
